Mustang Upholstery Part I

June 28, 2011 - 10:10pm

I couldn't load the video. To view go to    http://wp.me/pKHNM-AN

I know, I have a lot of work scheduled for the Mustang. This includes interior work and yes maybe doing it all at once would be a good idea. But I drive it a couple of times a week and the seat is getting worse. So I decided it needed to be fixed.

1966 Convertible for $4000

June 28, 2011 - 8:33pm
In a few days I'm going to look at a '66 convertible that has been under a cover for the last 10 years.. I have no idea of it's condition, motor type or anything... I would like to go into this prepared, so HERE IS MY QUESTION....

The seller is saying $4000 for the car.. At what point is it NOT worth $4000? Without a motor? (obviously if it's been in a really bad accident)... No interior, etc.....

1966 Emer Flasher

June 27, 2011 - 12:20pm
Will the 66 Emer Flasher work on our 65's? If so, where to install it? I was told on the 65 you would put it on the driver side and on the 66 it came in the glove box. Has anyone installed one in their 65? Thanks

June 24, 2011 - 6:04pm
I have some left over parts from my 1969 Mach One project, and I also have a 1969 coupe that I am parting out certain parts from. I have a complete interior from the coupe to sell. I have a couple of the simulated wood grain clock covers for a Mach One or a Grande. I have a like new 20 inch rad, and another 20 inch rad that is older, but did not leak. I have a T bird 302 motor and transmission....

GT EMBLEM/BADGE REPLACEMENT

June 24, 2011 - 3:28pm
Not sure how to replace my worn GT emblems on my 66 coupe.  There does not seem to be easy access to the retaining clips.  Is there a simple way to replace these badges?

Thanks!

Am I seeing this right?

I can not believe what someone paid for this used air cleaner. I have one of these at home that I have had on a self for years but also believe that the fome can come apart and start a fire or the car could backfire and cause a fire. These have been around for many-many years. You can find these all day for around $15.00 or so on ebay. I think these guys where just determined to get this. http:...

Electric fan installation

June 20, 2011 - 10:16am
I have a newly rebuilt 289. The cylinders were bored 60 over and new flat top pistons installed. The motor runs a little hot so I took out the old fan and put in a 14" electric fan. Where would be the best place to connect the wires so that it does not rob electricity from spark. Thanks for the help.

Advice on motor and transmission 66 Mustang

June 19, 2011 - 1:00pm
Helping my son with his 66 mustang coupe 289 automatic.  Seems to be grap bag of parts from multiple year and model fords.  We need to replace the flexplate, but before we do should we makes some changes to get us back to 1966 mustang or are we good to go?  NOT going to make it a concours show car.  Runs fine except for the bad flexplate.  Hard to determine correct flexplate.

Searching for a nice mustang to ship to UK

June 17, 2011 - 1:14am
I'm not sure of best year to go for. I thought 1966? Definitely a V8, manual box. What should I look for? Importing costs will be around 5000 including taxes, so it needs to be good enough to justify that. Any tips would be very welcome.

I pulled all the plugs out and the plug on number 3 pistion had oil on it and that is where the bent push rod was. What woul...
