This is my 1955 Chevy truck that I'm working on at the present time.
It has a 327, solid lifters, headers, Edelbrock intake and carb, mild cam and a Saginaw 4 speed hooked to a Hurst Competition plus shifter.
Had it on the road and then the wiring smoked when the voltage regulator went out. It has a 69 Dodge alternator and charging system.
Don't know why. Like that when I bought it. I ordered a NOS factory wiring harness, but because of the changes it's confusing how to hook everything up. I also ordered the factory shop manual for it with a wiring diagram in it. It's very small in the manual and very hard to follow. And I've been an electrician and electronics technician for the last 38 years. But, I'll get it going again soon. I HOPE!
